Hengyang Qishi Culture Museum (hereinafter referred to as stone Museum) is the first private museum in Hunan Province approved by Hunan Provincial Bureau of cultural relics. It is the only national AAA tourist attraction in Hunan Province that is completely constructed by hand. The stone museum is located in the west of Jiefang Avenue in Hengyang City, covering an area of about 30 mu, with a construction area of about 16000 square meters. Greening accounts for 60% of the land area. It has more than 5000 odd stones, fossils, mineral crystals and garden stones at home and abroad.

　　The stone Museum has four characteristics

　　1、 The architectural design is of modern Hui style, which not only retains the characteristics of white wall, gray tile and horse head wall of traditional Hui architecture, but also takes into account the needs of the times, with complete modern equipment;

　　2、 The design of the garden is of the Modern Soviet style, with pavilions, platforms, buildings, pavilions, water, and stones reflecting each other. The precious flowers and trees are evergreen all the year round. The whole museum area is full of bird songs, flowers, and poetry. The harmony between man and nature can be seen everywhere;

　　3、 Shoushi culture is the main content, the main building Wufu Pavilion is like a longevity turtle; the attached building Juzhen building is like a "mountain" character (mountain is formed by stone) representing Shoushan Nanyue, and the main and auxiliary buildings are connected, implying "Shoubi (adjacent) Nanshan", which embodies the essence of Shoushan culture and stone culture everywhere, and is also the inheritance of Nanyue Shou culture;

　　4、 Three treasures of large natural wonders: 1. The keepsake of Nanyue -- longevity turtle praying for blessing; 2. The symbol of Chinese Tourism -- horse flying swallow; 3. Predestined Sansheng stone. In the museum, there are paleontological fossils hall, mineral crystal hall, rare stone boutique hall, traditional food, tea training school, jewelry and jade exhibition hall, Chinese classical furniture, calligraphy and painting collection... It is the window of Hengyang municipal Party committee and government for foreign cultural exchange and the base of popular science education for teenagers.
